Coping, healing and growing ~ these are the basic elements of change in psychotherapy. I deeply enjoy the rewarding work of helping individuals make the positive changes they wish to make in their lives. The need or desire for change may be precipitated by symptoms like anxiety or depression, or by stressors emerging in one’s relationships. At other times, a person may feel a vague sense of disappointment or dissatisfaction without an obvious or apparent explanation. A trusting relationship with a therapist allows for a rich exploration and examination of whatever might be challenging you in your life.
Each relationship I have as a therapist is unique and meaningful to me, and my intention is that our relationship serves your personal goals — whether they be coping, healing, growing, or all three.
Please feel welcome to call me to discuss your situation and whether my approach would best serve your needs. I am also happy to help you with a referral if that would be the best choice.
